La Guimardière

The Guimardière vinyard was the first parcel Abel started working on. Named after the small hamlet where Abel is based, he believes this site has great potential as the fruit has very good ripeness most years, whilst retaining a strong acidity.

The plot is south east facing on the classic schist soil you'd expect for a top dry Anjou chenin. Classic quince and apple aromas, racey and mineral.
