Domaine des Quatre Pierres

El Pépé

Edouard makes El Pépé from his highest plot of goblet trained Carignan vines overlooking the village of Aragon. To be called AOC Cabardès a wine must be a blend and contain at least 40% of Cab Sauv, Cab Franc or Merlot and also 40% Grenache or Syrah! Carignan accounts for a tiny quantity of the grapes planted in Cabardès so this is a unique wine for the area.
