Thomas Tixier

Thomas Tixier is based in the village of Courgis, home to celebrated organic/low intervention growers, Alice & Olivier De Moor and Thomas Pico (Pattes Loup). In a region where organic viticulture is less common, Courgis is known for being something of an 'organic outpost' in Chablis.

Thomas studied viticulture in Beaune and vine sciences in Dijon before working for his family's domain for several years. In 2022 he launched the first vintage of his new project that consists of 4 hectares of vines that he has converted to organic and he is taking a more minimal intervention approach to the winemaking, inspired by his neighbours Oliver and Romain De Moor and Thomas Pico who he has known for many years.
